Our Story
Bowls Northland is the regional governing body for lawn bowls across the Northland region, supporting clubs and players from Leigh to Hikurangi; Ngunguru to Mamaranui. As an affiliated centre of Bowls New Zealand, we work to promote, develop, and grow the sport at all levels. With a proud heritage and strong community spirit, we support our clubs, deliver competitions and events, and create opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game of lawn bowls throughout Northland.
Bowls Northland strives to provide opportunities for all bowlers in Northland to participate in and enjoy bowls at all levels.

Bowls Northland is the governing body for Lawn Bowls in the Northland region with, currently, 18 clubs from Leigh etc. We both oversee and promote competition in the region with nine Open and junior, seven club, two youth and Regional events over the season. These provide options for all levels of sponsorship, which we encourage as we work to grow our sport over all levels.
